About Me
Throughout my life I have lived by the Army mantra “Be all you can be” which was taught to me by my father who served in the army for 20 years. Because of this I am always looking to build myself as a student, worker and person. Whenever I see a chance to learn something new or better a skill I jump on it. It is for this reason that since I have been at RPI, I have joined LEAP (Leadership Educators Advising Peers), EA (Engineering Ambassadors), been a physics mentor as well as a bridge mentor. In LEAP I have served as one of two co-coordinators who are in charge of the running of the group, arranging facilitations that will be carried out as well as trying to keep a bigger vision of the group in mind. In EA I served as financial coordinator which required me to reach out to companies, alumni, fellows, as well as apply to grants in order to reach a bigger audience of students to interest in STEM. Although I have done all of this I am not and will not ever be done building myself. That is why I am happy and honored to be the Vice President of Phalanx so I can help honor other selfless and visionary leaders here on the RPI campus.
