About Me
Throughout my time at Rensselaer, I have striven to involve myself in as many different organizations as possible to make the most out of my experience. Academically, I am a biomedical engineering major with a concentration in pre-med, and I intend to attend medical school post-graduation. I participate in research on campus in the Chan Lab, studying the effects of injuries in post-traumatic osteoarthritis. I have also been inducted into Alpha Epsilon Delta, the pre-health honor society. In addition to this, I have been an undergraduate mentor for Cell Biology Lab, and acted as a Women in Engineering Mentor.
I have participated as a member of the Women’s Varsity Soccer Team, and helped the team advance to their first-ever League Championship game. I am also an active member in Greek Life, as I am a member of the Pi Beta Phi Sorority and the Vice President of Finance on the Panhellenic Council. I was recently accepted into the Order of Omega, the Greek Leadership Honor Society, and will be initiated in Fall 2018.

In addition to this, I work part-time at the Student Health Center as a Bystander Intervention Peer Educator. This position allows student leaders to educate their fellow students on tips for safe bystander intervention. I am also the President and Founder of Sole Survivors, a club that uses public interactive art to demonstrate community support for sexual assault victims. Through my work with this club I was nominated for the Jefferson Awards in the Capital Region, as well as an RPI Nussbaum Award for community service.
