About Me

In my three years here at RPI, I was fortunate enough to have been part of numerous aspects of campus life. I was a member of the Rensselaer Orchestra as both a Cellist and Principal Harpist, having the privilege to perform at the Transformative: Campaign for Global Change event held at EMPAC, at Carnegie Hall to celebrate the school’s newly established music major, and most recently with Josh Groban celebrating the President’s 20th anniversary of her leadership. In my academic life, I worked as an undergraduate TA, and was part of numerous projects under RPI’s Undergraduate Research Program. Additionally, I was President of the Chinese American Students Association (CASA), ad hoc leader of Eighth Wonder Hip Hop Dance Crew, and am responsible for the revitalization of the Asian Cultural Union this past year. My leadership within the multicultural organizations of the school allowed me to serve as a voice for the Asian communities of the campus where there hadn’t been one prior, as well as better support the Multicultural Leadership Council subset of the Student Government. Next Fall, I will be continuing with my mission to spread cultural awareness and have been invited to perform music on my Chinese zither in Beijing.
