About Me
Denzel Faulkner is the president of RPI’s Black Graduate Student’s Association (BGSA). As president, Denzel has worked within the Rensselaer Black and Latinx Coalition (RBLX) to address the lack of bias acts and discriminatory acts in the student handbook – this has been added now. Within RBLX, Denzel has also added a longterm list of demands to the school that will serve to improve the experience of underrepresented undergraduate and graduate students alike. Additionally, Denzel has advocated for general students in general and has added pressure to the Mental Health office to increase their personnel (currently 6 counselors and 1 psychiatrist) to include more BIPOC staff as well.
