About Me
In Spring 2017, I joined Alpha Gamma Delta and served as the VP of Campus Relations for my sorority. I also served as a Student Ambassador in the Admissions office – I shared my experiences on campus in hopes of giving prospective students and their families a strong sense of what it’s like to be part of the Rensselaer community – from academics to extracurriculars. In addition to leading tours, I was the student speaker at admissions events including “Exploring Rensselaer from a Female Perspective Day” and “Rensselaer Medalist Day.” I also moderated a “Women in STEM” joint panel with women from Rensselaer and Georgia Institute of Technology. I was on the RPI Dance Team for 5 years and served as the Treasurer, President, and Captain throughout my time on the team. I organized and executed new fundraisers including Dance Day where we invited dancers from the local area to perform with us. As a member of the team I performed at home football and basketball games, and competed on a regional and national level. Additionally, I was a mentor for the Women’s Mentoring Program, an undergraduate facilitator for the Physics Department, as well as an undergraduate and graduate researcher.
