About Me

As a student at Rensselaer, I am involved in many organizations on campus. I am a freshman in the Physician Scientist Program, and will spend the next two years on campus before going to Albany Medical College. I currently serve as the Class of 2020 Representative on the Rensselaer Union Executive Board, and am involved in the Business Operations and Policies Committees. I am also an active member of Global Medical Brigades, and I had the amazing opportunity to travel to Panama over spring break to treat patients and build sanitation stations for families. In my free time, I facilitate discussions for Let’s Talk, a series of workshops centered around increasing dialogue and successful communication. I am also second chair in the Rensselaer Orchestra. Additionally, I conduct undergraduate research about the correlation between stress levels and memory processing in the Cognitive Science Department with Dr. Walf. Next year I look forward to continuing my involvement with the Women’s Mentoring Program by becoming a mentor and giving back what I learned this year by helping an incoming female student transition from high school to college. I will also be a Chemistry Mentor for first year students through the I-PERSIST Program in the fall.
