About Me
As a Freshman I co-founded ACM-W, a Women in Computing group, to recruit, engage and celebrate the accomplishments of our female computer scientist throughout the institute and cultivate a greater sense of community. Through my work with ACM-W where I am now the current chair, I have been given a platform to advocate for technology and community initiatives which empower minorities to harness their creative/technical potential to eliminate the gender gap and create a more diversified institute (and ultimately tech industry). Additionally I serve on the Department of Computer Science’s Undergraduate Recruiting Committee and I was selected to be a MIT Media Lab Consensus Scholar. During my free time I can be found attending RPISEC lectures, hacking for social good, attending conferences and belting out tunes.
