About Me
After joining the Rensselaer community in the Fall of 2018, I quickly became involved with RPI’s chapter of Engineers Without Borders (EWB). As a member, I assisted the group in designing a rainwater catchment system for a local community garden in the Capital Roots network. I went on to hold leadership positions in EWB, including Local Project Lead and President. Also in my first semester on campus, I joined the New York Epsilon chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Through my involvement with my fraternity, I have had the opportunity to grow our connection to our alumni network by orchestrating professional development events, such as mock interviews and resume critiques, and organizing an alumni weekend. Since the Spring of 2019, I have also been an active member in Engineering Ambassadors (EA), an organization dedicated to performing science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) outreach in the Capital Region and beyond. As a member of EA, I have been fortunate to work with many individuals across all engineering disciplines at RPI to inspire younger students to consider engineering as a future career path. Holding leadership positions as Vice Recruitment Coordinator and President, I have worked with my peers and the organization’s advisors to lead the group to continue its tremendous impact in STEM outreach.
