About Me

-Chi Phi Fraternity: I am the current President of Chi Phi and I have served as the Recruitment Chairman and Scholarship Chairman in the past. Some of my accomplishments as President so far include leading our annual St. Baldrick’s Fundraiser (we raised over $14,000), and improving brotherhood engagement and alumni relations. -I am a junior member of Engineering Ambassadors, meaning that I just got accepted into the program this semester and I am currently in the onboarding process. I am very excited to get involved in this organization and garner interest in the engineering field among students in the local community. Link to Engineering Ambassadors website.

-In the Fall 2021 semester I was a Calculus I I-PERSIST Mentor. I enjoyed this opportunity to pass on my knowledge in the subject of Calculus and to instill effective time management and study habits in first-year students at Rensselaer. Furthermore, I enjoyed aiding in their transition to college life at RPI and getting them excited for their years here in the future. I-PERSIST Program website.

-I was the Mix Design Chairman for the American Society of Civil Engineers Concrete Canoe Organization during the 2020-21 school year. I led the research and testing of novel concrete mixtures and collaborated with engineering students across disciplines to devise a design for a full-scale canoe made out of concrete.

-Finally, I am an active member of the Rensselaer Outing Club. My greatest passion outside of academics is the outdoors. I love hiking and doing other outdoor sports while meeting other RPI students through this club. Link to Outing Club website.
