About Me
I am involved in four clubs currently at RPI. I am the Treasurer of the American Institute of Chemical Engineering local chapter, the Chief Engineer of ChemE Car club, and the Chancellor of Board Game club. I also regularly attend the RPI Christian Students on Campus club.
Besides clubs, I am a member of our local chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS). I have also been recently invited to be initiated into the Tau Beta Pi Honors Society, and look forward to being initiated on 04/16.
In addition to organizational involvement and leadership opportunities, I am conducting research on campus under Dr. Georges Belfort and in collaboration with Dr. Sweta Vangaveti at UAlbany. I am using molecular dynamics simulation programs to help better understand the mechanism of neurotoxicity of Alzheimer’s disease by simulating a critical protein, A-beta, interacting with neuronal cell receptors. To conduct the simulations, I am using the RPI Supercomputer.
